i got a acid batery for the 1000f for £19 in a belfast battery shop.

i was warned off gel when i read on here and other forums to not use it on a honda, somehow burnt out rectifiers.
maybe its rubbish,.
was round seeing my old F last week, the owner needed the front brake switch fixed, nearly 4 years he's has it, and thats all has gone wrong.
wd40 and 5 mins. it was gummed up with chain spray of age.
