I remember when I first saw a Hurricane, back in 1988. I was always hanging out at a local bike shop on my badass XR80 that I ran all around the countryside.
I came in one day to find that the owner had bought one brand new. I fell in love. I told myself that one day I'd have one. It took me about 17 years, but....

Hey Kilgore,
My story is very similar to yours. Only I was on a XR 250 '86 and it took me 19 years. I loved that thing.

Yeah, I was 8 at the time when I got that 80.The 250 was a little big then. Haha. I was actuallyjust looking at an XR250 the other day.Looking to get another dirtbike. I've always liked the 4-strokes. Not sure why, maybe just because I grew up on them. My buddy has a CR250 that's pretty nice, though.
