Default paint ????s

I hope this is the right place for this. What kind of paint did the factory use originaly? More importantly what are you guys using to repaint? I know enamel is too brittle but the Chromabase that I use on other aplications has to be sanded and polished and there are too many small areas that makes it imposible to machine polish.

Thanks for the reply. The color code is NH 131 M and the code is NH 131 D but I can't tell the paint type from that. May be a call to Honda tomorrow will answer that. My local paint supplier has a spectrometor so matching color is not a big problem but the paint type is what I need. I'm afraid it's water based which is the only type I'm not set up to shoot. I don't have the right gun or enough pressure to shoot water base.
