After my 91 CBR 1000 decided it did not want me on it mid-corner, I now want to get back on it and show it who the bloody boss is.The righthand side needs some paint. I figure why not do the whole damn thing whilst it's being striped and worked on anyway.

The link below I found in another thread and did not want to hi-jack it any further. Can anyone else inspire me with pics of other CBR1000 that look different. The bike below is a bit beyond where I want to go (Polished wheels etc) but help I need more custom type pics.

The Black looks good but it's a pain in the *** to keep clean.
I think the early 90's Grey or the Red/White look good.

Actually I am considering Matt black with silver stickers. Just dunno if it would make it look like **** or not.

Just out of curiosity how did the CBR dump you?

 

I think matt black and silver would work well.

Who wasted there hard earned dollars on that CBR?


Trips, look at your avitar, now picture the back end coming around another 30 degrees and then snapping back when I let the brakes off. I hi-sided it. I managed to sheild the bike from a bit of damage by throwing my body between the bike and the guard rail on the side of the road(I'm so smart). It happend on a pretty slow corner so not too much damage to the bike.

I'm leaning towards that 88-89ish dark grey and black...........just not sure.
