Just got my pulse in the mail today and it does work now. On side of my 2 pulse was bad they both should have around the same resistance. If one is bad the bike will not spark at all. talk a look just took this with the new pulse.

I am not 100% sure it does sound kind of loud to me also i thought it may be the cam chain . I have not the cover off to look i will do that for sure. That is really only the 3 time i have had the bike running. I got the bike on trade. Trade a 88 iroc z body for it. Had to put new carbs on it ( old had cracked body ) and fix the wiring It was a motor swap some one got haft done. Soi had to fix it. Then it had that problem so i put it up and just dove my 82 gs1100e for the rest of the year. I have alot i got to do to it. Need alot of bolts for it also.

 

Do you have some sort of remote control that shocks the rooster when you hit the starter?
