Thanks for all the suggestions.

The vacuum hose is hooked up, I tried it with the fuel switch on the on position and still no gas. I will empty out the fuel and disconnect the petcock and see if there is any blockage.

Is there a video on cleaning the petcock? I could find one.

Also, if it is the vacuum thats a problem, then would I need to maybe rebuild carbs?

I appreciate all your help.

No, you wouldn't need to rebuild the carbs. The vac will be there as long as there is nothing plugging the hole.

apply vacuum to the small line on the petcock that goes to the vacuum port on the left carb, and you should get fuel flow. If not the tank does not have enough fuel in it to flow, the screen on the petcock that goes in the tank is clogged or your petcock is bad.

Update: I sucked on the vacuum hose and gas flowed freely. I hooked it back up to the carb and fuel barely comes out of the petcock. I bought a petcock rebuild kit and just finished installing it. The same thing happens. Gas barely comes out of the petcock. Do I have too little vacuum from the carb? if so, how can I fix it? Ive heard of people running with no diaphragm in the petcock. Should I try it with no diaphragm to see how gas flows?
Thx in advance

It takes very little vacuum to get the fuel to flow - perhaps there's a hole in the vacuum hose or some leak, or perhaps within the carb itself. I'd check the hose first, for leaks.
Here's the carb breakdown and part prices - maybe #18 ??

I guess leaving the diaphragm out would work.... just have to be sure to turn the petcock to off when standing.

More important is why you don't have enough vacuum to operate it. Sounds like a vacuum leak in the carb or in the boot between the carb and the head. Both would be something you need to fix.

Grab a vacuum gauge and check each carb's vacuum port (where you would hook up your carb sync tool) and see if the readings are all the same or close. It's even possible that the plates on #1 carb are closed completely so that the port isn't seeing manifold vacuum. Syncing would solve that problem.
