I just want to thank everybody for all the info.I found the bike in Ontario, around 30km after Ottawa.I got your message DragonCBR and I'll be sure to give you a call this week.
The oil that you recommended, does that come in synthetic?Do you use synthetic?Somebody told me that synthetic is not good for these engines but the bike that I bought has it.Thanks for all the tips.Does anybody know if I can get a transfer plate so that I can drive to the safety inspection instead of bring the bike on a trailer?

For the oil I use Motul semi synth, you have to be careful, Bike oil has not anitfirction additive which if in the oil might make your cluctch slip. And for some reason the Motul has something special, I have a feeling that the transmission and the motor are happier with it , anyway might only be a feeling i have.

For the transfer; if in ontarion check on the ontario ehcule site if you can print a transfer form from there and before leaving Ottawa Go stright to a SAAq in Hull where you can do the tranfer, i don,t know if you have to do it in both province ask your seller.

And last thing if it is in very good condition insure it on both side, those plastic panels are hard to come by and not really cheap.

and the list price in the bluebook is still 2100$ which mean that a mint one can go much higher on the market, around 3000-4000, a colletor offerred me 4500$ for mine.

Have a good day

Thanks for the info.I have the bike already picked it up over the week-end.
I'm sorry DragonCBR for not calling but since I have not told the wife yet
need to keep the bike talk at home at a minimum.I'm keeping the bike
at my dads garage for now.If your telling me that these bike's are worth
that much then I'm very happy,I paid much less than that. Also the bike has been restored 100% from motor to body,so I don't have to do anything for this year. How much are you paying for insurance?
Thanks again for all the help, and info.

Hi
You sound like my kinda guy.My other half "She who must be obeyed"shudders whenever I say "Come down to the garage and look what I've got " scares the cr4p out of her cos she never knows what's going to be there. Keep them guessing.

ha, ha, i can recall all my 'come & have a look' moments.

The last one... while dropping my wife off at work i told her " i'm just popping into the bike shop to get some chain lube" (she gave me a funny look). When she got home there's a brand new shiny bike keeping the CBR company in the garage.

When I brought my Hurricane home I was all excited to show the wife!

First words were: I like the old one better (Black Ninja). Broke my heart.
