Had a cherry picker. Lost it in the tornado. It still worked but the brace was bent too much to be safe. I could buy one though. I will also end up changing the wheel bearings, hubs, fork oil and seals, brakes and tires. What else should I takle right away, bike has been sitting for about 6 years.

6 years is a long time to be sitting!

Are you going to replace all the rubbers/seals in the brake system? - that would be on a list of definites for me.

Also replace the coolant and carefully check all the radiator hoses.

Where is a good place online to find parts for our older bikes? In the US or free shipping to US

Quite a few of us use Partzilla Partzilla.com - OEM Powersports Parts from Honda, Kawasaki Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha at discounts up to 80% off MSRP

Although sometimes it's worth hunting around when you know the part number - you can find good deals on other sites too. Brake discs and pads etc usually from Ebay.

Other members can feel free to chime in with their favourites.

So I finally located the motor and it should be shipped soon. I have been calling shops around to see what it would cost if they did the work. Most of my qoutes have been around 750 USD. Seem right?
