Default NEED EXPERTS..but you guys will do!

I've been reading, what you guys have written, for 3 days. What a wealth of experience and knowledge I have found!! I have an 87 w/12000 miles. She is flawless except for when she fell over off the kickstand...on concrete! I know how to park a bike!!! My 4th bike and 1st time ever with this issue. I just changed the stock exhaust to a Yoshi complete 4-1(came w/bike when I bought it and finally tried it). I now have to remove my center stand because it wont go back up, all the way(cant turn). ANY THOUGHTS FROM THE PROS???

WOW....thanx Sprock! I've been 6 yrs tryin to find advice and answers about my ride. This sight has been a 'gold-mine' of advice in the 3 days I've been reading.
How about your predictions on whether or not I will have to re-jet?
AND .... Ya got any tricks to make the kickstand better?

LOL , you could re-jet to iron out accel' if you find it stumbles or has flat spots.

Only thing I hate bout the stand is how quickly it goes through asphalt when parked in
summer. .......... just carry a puck (thick one if you need the bike more upright) ........
and for working on the bike at home grab yourself a decent paddock style rear stand
---- PitBull or the like

BTW Freak

Pics are a requirement and an intro in the our very own saloon intro thread.

The a quick swagger into the avago ' thread authored by the wild Aussie that goes by
the name CBRClassic to most and O"Roooooooooonie to others
That's where anyone can throw a punch and expect 10 back

Good to see we can help out now and again

You will, as has been said, have to lose your centre stand.
Making your own paddock stand is easy, I'll send pics of mine if you have a welder it'll take an hour or so.
Rejet may not be neccessary with the new pipes as these bikes run "rich" from the factory, but every bike is different. I have oversize downpipes (2mm) for better breathing and shorter stainless mufflers (throaty) and I run aDynojet 1 kit, and she still run's rich up into the high 240KPH range, then leans out.

Best of luck, and welcome to the asylum !

Evenin fella ... I'd also suggest that you take the bike for a Dyno run, to sort the fuelling out. It's worth every penny! You'll get better MPG and a smoother ride.
