I did this a while ago and forgot to say.

I bought the wrong Mirrors for my bike they were for the 93 on model and the holes were too close together.
Also they couldnt be detached from the base and mounted to the original base.

If you use a 13mm drill bit to drill out the holes, they will fit very nicely - they stick out about an extra 1.5 Inch which doesn't sound a lot, but makes a HUGE difference to the view you get using them
