Angry CBR1000FS float valve

Do I need to stick with genuine at twenty two pounds each or has anyone used pattern replacements without issue?
How on earth do you adjust float height? There is nothing you can bend or adjust to get the 13.7mm.....
HELP!

Hi Rollo, never had to adjust the float level myself but details of how to do it are certainly in the Haynes manual. There are a selection of manuals here :-

Workshop Manuals - CBR Forum - Enthusiast forums for Honda CBR Owners

Do you need to replace the floats, what parts do you think you need replacing?

Floats are fine. Valves are past it. Been sat for at least ten years. There is nothing on the float or float valve that you can adjust to alter the float height to the spec in the manual. Also not sure if to get genuine Honda at 22 quid each or pattern part at 7 to 10 quid each.
Cheers Hawkwind.
