Melted harness

Melted harness
Sad day. First time ever I've had a Honda break down along the road. Would be in the worst possible area as well with my wife on board. Very upset. Anyways I managed to get it going eventually and get home safe. I'm now sitting with a burnt out harness to the starter solenoid. Must have gotten very hot, the fuse is blistered and the plug is melted. Where can I get a new plug? I hate the idea of four separate spade connectors. Also any idea where I can search for the likely fault in the harness would be appreciated. When I got this bike I replaced the plug and about half a meter of harness leading up to it off a donor bike. Now the exact same section is melted again. Must be something wrong somewhere that's causing it. All advise appreciated

I did swop out the solenoid after I replaced the wires the first time, but it was with another old one off the same donor. Maybe time to get a new one. Still love to know what's causing the melted wiring, but the idea of pulling the whole harness and opening it up again is just too much for me right now. Oddly it didn't melt further and wasn't even hot when we got home. Intermittent short? My favourite
