Default linked braking systems!!

who's bleed brakes on this wonderful linked braking system before.i've seem to misplace my owners manual [:@]and tried it lastnight.noticed two nipples on each caliper and figured one for front and back which turned out to be the case.i was draing the old fluid out to relace with new , anyway i got the front caliper nipples on the front caliper to bleed out but the back brake nipple on the front caliper wont bleed out. the whole back brake caliper (both nipples ) wont bleed either! needless to say i'm four wheeling it today with 70 degree weather!![:'(]

Hey kd, there is a specific order to do the LBS. On the left strut, there is avalve you have to remove a small plastic cover,loosen with an allen wrenchand, and then bleed. Definitely follow the manual. If you don't it get it all(manual), let me know and I can send you the details.

Steps are as follows;

loosen the orifice bolt by backing it out against the snap ring and then stop.

For the lever

bleed each caliper from the top bleed valve

For the pedal bleeding

bleed the right front caliper from the lower bleed valve.
bleed the left front caliper from the lower bleed valve.

bleed the rear caliper from the lower bleed valve
bleed the rear caliper form the upper bleed valve.

tighten the orifice bolt. Do not over tighten it.

Note: You need to keep adding fluid to the reservoir or it will run dry. If this happens you start all over.
