What speed were you doing? At least its only 2 months and it nearly winter, could be worse and the summer could have been here. Can you still do track days?

The speed was just 62 km/h on a 50-road in a low traffic areainto asmallvillage. I've stayed quite wellwithin speed limits since I got the written warning but did not break as needed on the light downslope yesterday. If it was not for the previous written warning it had been nothing. The praxis is that the license now will be on hold for 2 months.

The fine was $300.

I don’t know the fee for illegal driving. In such acase the license will normally be on hold for another 6 months. There is also a critical 12 monthslimit that must be avoided. For 12 months recall the existing licenses are totally scrapped and one has to get new licenses, for car and bike. This would take a huge amount oftime on top of 12 months and now we are talking thousands of dollars and a nightmare scenario.

The situation has lightened somewhat; I’ve talked to a work mate that will drive me to and from the work every day using my car during the estimated two months recall. AndI will get plenty of time at home to renvovate thegarage :-) And it is the best period to loose the license since the season is over here except for a few days in case of warm weather.

I can't do public track days and I have not paid the Road Racing license this year that would have make it possible to drive on tracks without the normal license. The RR license is about $500 per year and it is not worth it for someone like me that only do like 5 track days per year and can do this on public days without the fixed yearly cost.

It will take a few weeks until a human willobserve that this speeding is on top of a fresh warning and the license is then more or lessautomaticallyrecalled for two or three months. I'm not terriblehappy about this.

No planned mods for the bird since it runs and handles the way I want. The only thing I would like to change is to reduce its weight by 50 kg to makeit a killer on tracks :-)

Today starts with cutting the 25 meter long hedge and later it will be a nice trip with Blue1000F, the weather is great here now.
