Biggest cause of short tyre-life is over-inflating them. Then you have tiny contact patch carrying all this massive weight. Lowers braking and cornering grip too, not safe!

Better to use lower pressure and spread load out across larger area. Better grip too.

properly inflated - wears out across wider section of tyre, curved to match tyre-profile, lasts 2-3x longer
