I picked up my 88 today. I live in the Dayton area in Ohio but had to go to Toledo to get it. I took a chance and rode it home (About 150mi). Im a little sore but the bike did great!

I didn't take it past 85mph or 6,000rpm.

This is only my second bike and only my second season riding. I really dont even have a morotcycle license yet!!

I'll get the bike and me leagal this week so Im not too concerned there.

My neighbor took it out and he took it up to about 120pmph and he said that it was too fast for me and to take it back. (Yea right...) He recomended that I replace the tires and get the rear break looked at. The plastics are a little rough but not all that bad for being 20 years old.

I figure that I can get the breaks and tires taken care of for about $400.00 or so and I'll have a shop here locally look it over.

Considreing I gave a basket case 77 harley for it Im pretty darn happy...
