Default Improve braking

My '87 is completely stock. I just got it back on the road last month after it sat in the garage for a verrrrry long time. I'm looking for suggestions for improving the front braking. It doesn't have the grip I'd like. Any ideas? Braided steel lines maybe to start?

Hi Griffin. Braided lines will improve your braking, as well as EBC discs and H pads.

Collector is right, however you should start by replacing the brake fluid if it's old. If it's brown in color, it needs to be replaced.

Thanks, folks, for the suggestions. I'll check the fluid colour first. I haven't changed it yet so it certainly is old.
