Wow, Griff!! This is the bike I would probably buy new if I had the cash to spend. My wife has told me a few times to go ahead and get one, but I keep holding back. Very sweet bike man, and I hope you enjoy it.

Trout that's the situation I'm in too. I've just rationalized that it makes sense.

That really is a great looking bike. There's something really industrial/high tech about it, without that superbug look from Starship Troopers.

So, I've been checking out a couple of BMW forums. They don't seem to bad a bunch. Not quite as warm and fuzzy as you lot, but not bad.

One thing I'm having trouble with though is that they all seem to have bags of cash to spend on stuff. Some of these guys are already planning to drop $2-3k in extras like exhausts and carbon fibre bling. Oh, and the "I need to get a new helmet to match my motorsports colours. Which Arai should I get?" Gah!

Oh well, I'm used to being the poor boy in the neighbourhood. I live in an area with millionaiires all around me.

From what I have seen, most of them wear ties while they ride and hold their pinkies up.
