Tough break Steve! Had me worried for a sec , thought maybe the cam chain had let loose

I'd patch mate , but then I'm a cheap ba5tard

Seriously , a patch should be good for anything off the track and if it's got 5000klms left on it it's too good to ditch

BTW Thanks for the banner , nice touch mate

Plug the mongrel mate.If i remember correctly the plugs they use in car tyres are polypropylene ,ie;same temperature properties as Rubber.
Plug it,spend the money on a slab mate,want me to come down & drink it for you?

Yeah me too - ! I've not had a tyre on the bike in 5 year that didn't pick up a nail or a screw - I put mushroom plugs in them and they have been fine at any speed.
It's always the back tyre too...........

I'd have thought they'd put a patch on from the inside Steve , that way it'll never come off

i have plugged mine before without any problems. Especially if it doesnt have much life left in the tire.
