I have OIL in my COOLANT!!
I am absolutely gutted at this as I bought it from a guy that told me he had fixed this problem but now what i think is he just pretended to fix it. I have been told he had replaced the water pump with a second hand one.
So what happened was today a strange puddle of murky substance with a brown coffee like colour had pooled under the bike when i parked it up. I stripped back all the fairing with a friend and found it was the overflow that it was leaking out of. We drained the radiator and after a load of discoloured water had leaked out some thniker coffee colour substance leaked out. This caused me to think it was oil in the water. We checked the dipstick for the oil but that is not discoloured but it is low. I am going to drain all the oil and replace it to check if there is any water in it.
What could the problem be?? Is it a head gasket?? or water pump gasket? or is it something to do with the oil cooler as some1 suggested, but i cant see any water near the oil cooler so it makes me think it was one of the first two options
UPDATE: we just drained the oil, we didnt see any water at the start as most people say thats when the water would come out. We also did not see any water after the oil came out. My friend did comment that it looked thin but i imagine thats just the difference between motorbike oil and car oil or just his imagination.

If the head gasket had gone and the previous owner fixed it. Maybe the cooling system wasn't flushed properly or there was some oil left in there after he'd done it.
Have you had any over heating problems, or anything else to indicate a problem?
Follow Sprocks' advice and keep an eye on the temperature/performance of the bike.

Could this make the oil go into the water pump? I talked to a Honda specialist shop and he tried to tell me that the only thing that could do this is a warped engine he told me it was too expensive to fix and thati should get a new engine instead of trying.

As Sprock says new o-rings.
I can not see why it should be the water pump...
There's 2 o-rings when you assembly the water pump to the enginge, 1 on the water pump side and 1 on the engine side.
So I suggest you replace both of them and again drain your cooling system from water and rinse 3-4 times with really hot water to get all of the oil out of it..
The last time you do it, assembly the cooling system like you would do to ride the bike and then turn on the engine and let it be on for 15 mins or so to get the water really hot to rinse all oil out of the pipes. (disconnect the fan blower, BUT keep an eye on the needle so it does'nt get too hot!!!)
Drain again, and fil up with water and coolant fluid.
Take it for a long testdrive, and then see if there's any oil in the water.
That was how i solved my problem.
Try it and please respond to me if you solved your problem
best regards
