no I used shell t3, I am worried that its the clutch plates, but atleast I will know that they are done. I have been briefly looking online what is the best? Thanks

Oh BTW it slips as soon as I ****** the throttle, it will start to climb in speed then it will just rev a bit.

a good complete kit right there , springs , friction plates & clutch plates

Only other item would be the gasket for the cover

ok one side note before I head to work, I did notice that when my clutch was/is engaging with like the last 1/4" when I release my clutch handle. Before I worked on my bike it was like the last inch or so. It seems so far out. Could this be air in the line? or worn clutch.

Could be the case if the clutch plates are worn away to almost bare metal or could be
a combo of both still some air in the line and badly worn clutch ......imo

Thats what i was thinking, i ride my bike hard, but not to the limits, and before my wreck i could ****** all the way up to 10 k no prob no slips, now she slips all the time. I think ill try n bleed the clutch, but i have tomorrow off so i could pop the clutch out and see if she's toast. And when i say she's slipping all the time, i just got back from a ride and was barley able to get home. She slips with just the smallest amount of throttle. Its wierd, i thought the clutch wiuld have slowly gone out, not all at once.

The plates did not sneak out while you were not looking by themselves and have a bad **** night on the town doing clutch wheelies everywhere so that they could get replaced with nice new ones .... lolol

It will be still a little AIR in the lines "prolly ?"...
Hey:

But its probably Melba by now if he let it slip as it does not take much to fry them beyond no return.
