Default Having trouble removing seat and carbs are running rich

Thanks for all your guys help in my last post. I was wondering if there was some sort of special way to remove the seat for my 88 cbr 1000. I cannot get the darn thing off at all i hope I dont sound like too big an idiot for asking that. Also, how do I adjust the carbs to run leaner? Im getting about 100 miles to the tank and im not hauling *** anywhere. I think my carbs are running rich.

If you hit down on the back of the seat when unlocking it might work. Check the air cleaner, intake pipes, choke linkages and for fuel leaks . Dose it run smooth

Ill check that tommorrow in the light. The bike runs really nice, it just smells like gas a little bit, but its getting no puddles or leakage at all on the ground.
