Here's some pictures of my Garmin Quest, mounted to my '87 CBR1000F using RAM components.

I use the center stem with a RAM mount. It works nicely with the TomTom Rider!

Noe:
Did you buy your RAM mount in Denmark, if so, where?
Currently I use the standard one that came with my TomTom Rider, and I´m not to happy with it.

I have the same sort of mount setup as idodirt for my Zumo on a '95... AU$1,400 9 months ago...

The GPS stand up fairly proud, but it's out of the way whether I'm being a fool or loaded full of gear.

I've considered mounting the ball joint next to the ignition key but it's sort of convenient having it up high... I can see it as easily as the speedo.

Triangle, which model Zumo do you have ? the 450 or 550 ? Have you done any updates to the firmware since you've got it ?

I got the 550 on 12/01/2007, must have been one of the first to land in Australia, updated the firmwarearound May/June and it stopped working in September, I sent it away for warranty repairs and they decided to replace it. I think the screen on the new one feels a bit rougher than the old one.

I checked the software and firmware was up to date on mygarmin.com, it was...

it was a lot of money but it soooo kicks butt over allmy friends who have GPS's in the entry level price bracket

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but have an operational question. On the 550, if you're just viewing the map display, can you touch the screen and then drag the map around with your finger ?Meaning that you don't select any menus first, just touch the map and then drag it around to view different areas ?

I can do that on my 2610 so I would hope that would be kept on newer models

I have the Mio 320 and just stick it to my tank, its below my windscreen and is centered on my tank. (my bike is a 98 f3 just the same as the pic above). The battery lasts 3 or 4 hours and ive been thinking about wiring a plug to my battery but i usually dont go riding for more than 3 or 4 hours at a time anyway. Ill just charge it up as soon as i get home!
