The guardian is a great part (that's the one on the plate mount, right?). I haven't ever locked my helmet to my bike in 25+ years of riding (maybe 2 or 3 times with the cable that I'm locking the bike with) but generally I stow it in the trunk or carry it. Thanks for the info!

Oh, and the Guardian creates a perfect place to put Hyperlites on too. I user the $27 version from Cycle Gear (2/3 cheaper, and just as bright) and they would mount up perfectly on the outside edge of each lock.
