General Advice Needed- Should I try to fix, sell, or trade in towards new(or used)

Can anyone recommend an ace mechanic you could take it to and let them fix it for you, would have to work out cheaper and prolly better in the long run than something new as all newer bikes seem to lack comfort compared.
