This is something that I really dont want to think about or even post about becuase Im worried what your guy's response will be.

Sometimes when Im driving and I upshift, when I release the clutch the shifter doesnt go in gear, and it just kinda bobbles/flops/hops around, until I push the clutch back in and upshift again, and then it goes into gear.

It doesn't happen very often, sometimes it happens under high acceleration and sometimes it happens when im just puttering a long.

Everytime it happens i just push the clutch in and reshift it up and its back to normal.

Im hoping im just upshifting before the clutch is pushed in or taking it out before its engaged in gear.

 

Sounds like your gearshift's loose........? Check the bolts ......
Maybe that's too simple, but it's happened before........ To me !

 

hmm ill have to check. The amount it happens is so far apart and intermittent that I was reluctant to even post. hopefully it wont get any worse
