Default Final Gear not Engaging under Heavy Accel

So i was out with the guys today riding and they both are riding 1000cc bikes and im still on my 600 yet i can keep up. It was on a straight away when we decided to gun it as fast as we could (Iknow not recommended yet it was fun) and i was good till i got to the final gear when it just felt empty... tach went down to 1k and when i tried to down shift... i heard a clicking noise... and once i kicked it down, bike starts back up fine

When i was just cruising, bringing it up to final gear, its fine, runs smooth... I dont know much about the techniques of a cbr but im not new to cars and im just praying its not the clutch

Clutch is easy to replace in a bike, however I doubt it will slip in 6th, you'll see it slipping in 1st and 2nd long before 6th.

What kind of gearing are you running? What speed were you doing when you shifted to 6th?

I dont know what kinda of gearing i am running because i just got the bike a month a go... i dont know much about the bike minus what i had to replace/remove.... when i was shifting, it was at around 95-100 because thats where it fell off and i had to slow down...

yeah... changing a clutch is much different on a bike than a car... very simple. but i would take the bike to a good and safe location, red line each gear and see if it still does it in sixth...90% of the time a problem like this is rider error. and when the bike went down to 1krpms its because you had the clutch in.. and if you didnt have the clutch in then its because you didnt shift hard enough and the gear wasnt fully engaged (hence the clicking sound you heard)... kick up with your foot hard. you wont hurt it... its just a lever.
