Default RE: Gas Mileage

I was analysing the conditions the bike is under when commuting. Fir going to and from work the bike runs 40 minuts a day. 5 of those would be warmup, 15 would be idling at lights and the rest would be almost entirely either accelerating or decelerating.

WHen its not being used for work I'm using going on runs with the boys which are all high speed.

I get about 180km before I hit reserve. Before I put in the Jet Kit, Exhausts and Filters I got 210km. But I am a big boy and I am not gentle with the throttle.

If I could I would go back to stock exhaust and jet kit in a heartbeat.
Rejetting is supposed to bring air-fuel ratios back to stock levels after installing freer flowing exhausts, not result in a richer mixture and lower fuel mileage. I'd experiment some more with jets and needles.
When I installed the Dynojet needles with the clip in the top position and smaller jets, my mileage went from 42 to 30 - I put the stock needles back in. Bike runs the same but no fuel smell and mileage went back into the 40's.
