Default front wheel bearing kit

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get a front wheel bearing kit for the '87?

Local bearing store, do a search for the model of the bearing or the shop manual, it is in there, they are common bearinf and will cost you about 5-10$ maximum by bearing at the bearing store, they are the same as the dealer.

They're 6004's, sometimes called 6004-2RS. The 2RS means 2 rubber seals on the sides of the bearings. You'll still need the dust seals as well which usually get damaged when you pry them out. You may find the dust seals from a bearing supplier or from Honda. They're not too pricy from honda, but the bearing prices are crazy from Honda.

You can try allballs- you can get bearings and seals for about $20 shipped.

Whatever you get, make sure they are quality brand bearings Timken, ***, NTN etc. and stay away from the Chineese or Romanian made bearings.

I was probably going to do the allballs for around 20 bucks. Has anyone had any expericence with those? Are those the ones you used, Paco? Also, what is the benefit of the steel seals? Thanks for the help.

I think Timbuctu used an allballs kit in his steering head, but not sure about the wheels. They do have a good rep from what I can gather.......Better quality bearings appear to have steel seals....
