Default Front wheel bearing install

Hi, I just replaced both bearings and dust seals on my '90. My question is this... with the front wheel off the ground, should the wheel spin very freely if I spin it with my hand? If I spin it with my hand with some force it rotates about 2 or 3 times and stops.

I'm just wondering if I have the center spacer in there correctly or if I have the axle nut torqued too much. I just fiqured the wheel would rotate very easily.
Thanks for any help guys.

Are your brake pads rubbing on the disc? If they are you will need to push the pistons back in, this should solve the problem.

If they arent or the calipers aren't fitted, maybe you have the spacers in the wrong sides.. Try swapping them over..

No, the wheel wasn't spinning very freely 'before' I put the calipers back on. I think I might have put the center spacer in incorrectly. But it seemed that the center spacer could only go in one way. I might disassemble the hub and start over. Thanks.

The axel bolt is supposed to have 43ft-lbs of torque and the pinch bolts should have 16ft-lbs.

Thanks Thrasher, I have the clymer manual with the torque specs but I'm trying to find an adapter to make my 3/8 torque wrench fit the larger sockets.
