Thanks Pete - never a problem for me though..... I never "speed"..

(wish me good luck in my bidding .... this is second time listing on these ...they were lised about 6 weeks ago .... I was outbid previously but the "deal" obviously fell through).

Mine cost me 151 pounds, plus another 100 odd pounds for postage from the UK - cheap when you consider that to buy a set locally (assuming you could find them with the brackets for the 1000F) would have cost me over 600 pounds !!
Best of luck, Martin......
Oh, by the way, NEVER speed ???- get away with you ! he he

No Mate.
Did you decide on a "Soft Bag" option.
I'm still not quite sure what I want/need.
I use Tank-bag and/or seat bag for w/end rides.
I use Qantas airline bag on seat for 1 week trips.

Still not sure whatI need..... [&:]

What I would like is the intergrated, compact rear end design of a Deauville...

I like the idea of soft bags, something you can take off and throw over your shoulder. .
Panniers look sort of. .
