Default front suspension

Sup lady`s & gent`s!
Just got a 87 hurrican about a week ago ! And u guess it, No owner`s manual with it. Would give my eye teeth for one , if anyone has any ideal were get one! Clymer or E-bay im guessing. But my question for now is. Are the front fork on this bikes are atmospheric pressured. By this i mean , they have no Co2 gas. If there like anyother bike i`ve owned, they need the bilt up pressure blead off them from time to time .
THX ! Bug`s have lot`s of protein!

If what you mean is, that you can Pre-load them with normal air, the answer is yes.
If you want to use CO2, that's another story.
I don't think there is any harm in doing so.
The maximun pressure should not exceed 6 psi. according to the manual.
I run zero pressure (no pre-load) on them.
Enjoy your ride.

Thx baron . Yes what i was asking LOL in a not so clear way , was if the bike came of with co2 for the preload or just air pressure! Like you i have found that 0 psi fits my weight and rideing still . 168 lbs. and abit agressive! I put my feet on the pegs (holding myself 1 hand on a wall) And have my wife release the valve stem`s a the same time! Hum this maybe called negitive pressure! But anyway fork will biuld pressure over time naturally heating an cooling. (also a variant to this is fork spring & oil level)!
Show a smile! with bugs inside !

That's funny that you guys front forks are at least pre-load adjustable.. I don't have that option on mine, they are preset and stiff is the only option. But for me being a larger guy (240) it works out good for me. I'm ordering a "works" kit for the front forks soon though, and maybe going to a Fox shock in the back. Oh yeah, even better peformance in the twisties and a lot more control of rebound and compression rates. I'm a stickler for tweaking. Heheheh...

Just FYI Fox Racing Shox has gotten out of the motorcycle shock business, just doing bicycles. I just tried to get a shock not too long ago and found all this out when I called

Has anyone installed a 900RR or newer shock on their F? I see them often on ebay, but don't know if they will fit.
