good call on the chain guard... i just removed mine when i did the swap....

wait you have the 95, ours (87-88)is much narrower than yours and has to be removed...

Yeah I already planned on removing my tire hugger anyways. I'm going to look into it the summer when I start riding with some guys in the area. I wonder if the hugger off of a newer cbr1000rr will fit? If not. Still no big deal. If I change my front rim and tire to the newer one will my front fender clear the wider tire?

your front rim will clear noooooo problem. rear hugger, i dont know ifa 1000rrwill fit. you can modify the old one but they are pretty ugly to begin with, i just have to clean my rim a little more often....
