exhaust
I am looking for your opinions I have an 87 cane with a two brothers racing slip on single exhaust, I like the look of dual exhaust on the canes and found a set of factory pipes for sale. Do you think I will notice a difference in performance and fuel economy? Just looking for your opinions.

Exhaust by its self gives jack chit increase in performance..
If your bike was jetted to suit the pipes you may find that it won't run quite as good with the 4-2 stockies on...
Fuel economy will prolly be better with the stockies back on ...if she has stock jets in her still...
Most guys though only whack the 4-1 pipes on and hardly bother with the jets most of the time ... so you prolly would be ok ...

You should be fine. Just like CBRclassic says, "Exhaust by its self gives jack chit." Fuel economy is mostly driven by gearing and the right wrist.
The factory mufflers will add about 40 lbs of weight to your bike.
The Laser mufflers that some of the members have look great and keep the factory heat shields that you most likely don't have now with the TB. Those mufflers are also lighter than the factory ones.

Another option. You need to pull the plug on the left side to install these.
