i have another problem about heating. The engine works well, but the heat indicator shows always the max temp.
The went works well and the engine is not that hot at all, but as i turn on the ignitation, the heat indicator shows the max value.

Should i be worried?

i have cbr1000F'90

Use synthetic and don't get into the redzone

Hi kaska welcome!!! Your heat gage has a dead short and that is why it shows red all the time!!!

On the '91 models there are rubber flaps that kind of seal the openings. I've never had trouble with heat from mine from front, side or tank. There is a rubber piece that makes a seal between the head and upper frame under the tank. If that is gone perhapsyou could get hot air flowing from your radiator over the engine and under the seat. Don't know if that piece of rubber is included on the '87 models or not.
I have an 87 and it has the head insulator. Fun to deal with when adjusting valves.
