DYNOJET Jetkits
Installing a Jet kit is pretty easy. Atleast when I installed it in my 81 GS750 it was pretty easy. I had to pick up a Stage 3 Jet Kit, since I had individual pod filters, a free flowing exhaust, and what not. Let me tell you that bike hauled ****!!!
It all depends on the bike. Some bikes are much leaner from the factory than the 1000F was. Exhausts and K&N filters usually work fine on these bikes with no jetting. Raising/shimming the needles a tad probably wouldn't hurt with full setups, but if you aren't experiencing any lean symptoms I probably wouldn't even dick with it.
See I know my bike's jets have been adjusted, and I dont think they have it right(got some stumbling at low rpm) but at high rpms it hauls ****. I am still tempted after I sync the carbs (if its not fixed) to get a jet kit, as I have a 4-1 and a K&N.
Does anyone else have a kerker exhaust and a K&N and run stock jets?
