Default Downshift issues

On my 87,it upshifts fine,but does not want to downshift most of the time.I have to keep fooling with it to get back to neutral.Anyone have any insight on this?

First things first, check the fluid in your clutch master cylinder. When the fluid level gets low, shifting will become difficult.

Most bikes, you have to fiddle around some to get them into neutral.

+ 1 for checking your clutch both master & slave cylinder (on the sprocket)

Your clutch is not fully disengaging in my humble opinion
