I have the Gunfighter and Lady on my '91 and really like it. It doessit lower than stock, which means a straighter position, but more bend in the knees. Others who have ridden the bike comment that they feel like they're sitting in the bike rather than on it.At 6'1" I find it very comfortable, plenty ofroom to move around on long rides andthe wife finds it comfortable also. She especially likes the back rest, itprovides security. The only downside is weight, the seat is pretty heavy.

I also have the Gunfighter & Lady and I do not like it but my wife liked it better than stock seat. It was very comfy for her (she fell asleep on the highway) and she feels very secure with the back rest.I can twist the throttle hard and she does not get scaredanymore.
I do not like it as you sit lower and further back so you have to bend your knees more and have to reach further for the handle bars which makes you crouch your back. Fyi - I also have Heli bars on my 1990 CBR 1000F, I highly recommend them.I am 6'-0" with 34" inseam. The Corbin is more comfy for your azz but I did not like the trade offs for my back & knees.I went back to using the stock seat whenI ride the CBR.I only ride it solo anymore. The Corbin is collecting dust.
I bought a used 2004 R1150RT (beemer)for two uprides with the wife - i'll be 40 this year too...yikes! (read - slowing down a little) We did some touring in CO last summer on an RT (rented) and she had a new appreciation for riding (as a passenger only). It was a much more comfy ride for me with her on the back too. And, no complaints from her during the trip....so i bought one used when we got back.Plan to tour Nova Scotia next summer. (We live in "Joisy"...that's NJ)Of course there is no comparison to the CBR for the fun factor when riding solo. I still have it with no plans to sell.

That said, i understand many people dont have the luxury of more than one cycle so if you are only having the CBR,you ride a passenger now and again, I do recommend the Corbin.A nice acccessory for the $. sorry for the long reply but I wanted to add my $.02.

Sorry, not in Oz, butI did spend two weeks riding there 2 yrs ago. I live in New Jersey - USA,30 minutes from NYC. Not worth selling itfor $50 ( someone paid that on ebay), rather keep it...just in case.

Hereyou go. Sorry I don't have one of the backrest up. If the snow stops today I'll get the bike out of the shed and get a shot of it.
