conti road attack
just put a 170/60 17 of these on the back of me 91 cbr1000f and......its like riding a totally different bike, had a same size brigdestone bt20 on before n it skipped and slid all over the place,it also reacted badly to cats eyes etc.
this conti is great, chuffed totally.really excellent handling/grip on uk a+b roads.
not much help to anyone but felt like sharing lol
anyone in uk got a decent rear brake disc going?,cheepish, new ones are stupid money.

RE: conti road attack
I got a conti sport attack for the back of my cbr1000f. I've only gotten to ride it a couple of times because of the snow. But I like the tires also. Much better than the old metzlers. I like continental's tire... car, truck or bike. I owned an SVT focus (similar to the cosworth. -turbo&AWD). It came stock with a sport conti tire. Awesome traction for the car. I hope my tire is the same for my bike!!
Oh.. On your rear disc. Have you tried Ebay? That place is like a discount warehouse to me.

RE: conti road attack
actually im still using the counterpart bridgestone bt20 which strangely has been very good on the front and as its still got 4mm will persevere with it thru winter.
not that happy with having diff makes on the bike but have just done the roundabout test and had her well past my normal skip n slide limit so maybe its a cool setup for cold n icy road.
will know for sure after a week i spose,so if my posting stops ill be in a tree/field/bustop somewhere...
