Default pirelli or conti

I need to buy new tires. I am torn between continental road attacks and the Pirelli Diablo. Who has tried either of these tires? how was the handling and what kind of mileage did you get? WHichhas better handling? I haven't tried either but I am looking for as good as grip if not better than my Dunlop 208 and better mileage. Thanks in advance for the replies

Im looking for both. I'm do not want to sacrafice grip but I want a little better milage than the 208. I have ran 3 dunlops in 2 seasons and a pirelli corsa. I loved the corsa but it didnt last long enough. From what I read the new conti road attack grips good and is good for about 5-8000MI. If I had the extra money I would just buy pilot powers or qualifiers and I may take that route if I dont get good feedback on the conti's or the pirelli's I just want a longer lasting rear without sacrificing grip, and I dont want to have to sell my lugnuts off my mustang just to afford tires.IF the I am looking for the better overall life and performing tire.

I was in a similar situation not long ago. I ended up forking out the extra cash for the pilot powers. After riding on it last summer, I don't regret it at all and I'll be getting another one as soon as this one wears down. It's worth the extra $$$ in my opinion.

how is the warm up? I have heard nothing but good about both tires. I know the conits are new and from what I have read it sounds like they are new and improved tire on the market. I've read in one post that the contis aren tacky enough for a liter bike but on other posts everyone who has them says the love them. same for the pirellis. Thanks for the replies anyone else I plan to buy a set of tires next week so I want to make up my mind by then.
THanks

diablos are SICK...super sticky...but they won't last the 5-8K you're looking for on a liter bike...you'll get 5 if you're easy on it.

My buddy runs the attacks on his bike. He loves them, and their good priced. I am trying the new corsa 3's. I did alot of reading on these tires and supposedly they are better than the pilot powers. What I like about them, is that there isn't really warm up needed and these are the new for 07 model III's have that tri-layer compound tread design. I have about 200 miles on them now, and I absolutely love them. As far as grip, the further you lean it over, the softer the compound is. The tire also tells alot about your suspension settings too. I don't know how many miles I'll be able to get on them, prolly not much at all cuz I plan on trying them in april for a track day.

I decided to try them I have read magazine reviews saying that they perform everybit as well as pilot powers. I Bought the sport attacks. as usual the rear always wears faster than the front so for the price of these tires I can have 2 rears, and a front for $20 more than a pair of pilot powers. So if they stick and perform as well as I hope I will be buyng a spare rear. I'll keep you posted on how they perfrom but it may be a while since it snowed here the other night. I am looking for better grip than my 208s and to at least match if not exceed the life of my 208's. I feel confident they should from what I read.

I've said it before, I am a fan of the 208's simply because I do alot of city riding, and they are great for kicking it sideways when rounding a corner. You'll be very pleased with the conti's, I know I am but I miss the drifting.
