Conti Go
Just fitted a new rear tyre to the 1kf, a Continental Conti Go? Anyone heard of them before, cos I haven't??? It's a '88 F-J model with the narrower rims (till I can find a pair of later rims ), so my tyre choices were, shall we say, limited! lol
They look quite meaty for such a skinny tyre ...... any feedback????

I think the conti-go is superior to some of the harder tires. My first bike was an 87 cbr 600f it had some pirelli sport touring tires on it. I think they were MT75. Horrible tires if you ask me. After changing to the conti go, it was breeze to ride with my bodys. No more front wheel slide. I hate that feeling of no control even if its only for a second. Now i ride the 1000f. It has the Metzler z6 which is pretty good, but i think i`ll go with the Michelin pilot power 2ct next time.
So the answer to the question is yes they are pretty good tires. You should be able to get some mileage out of them while maintaining really good traction.
