If you make the pipes longer, you MAY have oil pressure problems - I moved one on another bike, and did......otherwise, it won't matter unless you restrict airflow to the water radiator........but why move it anyway ?

Definitely NOT a good idea, unless you fit a good fine gauge metal stone guard, which will limit the effectiveness of the cooler. Oil coolers are quite fragile, and a stone getting kicked up could well punch a hole in it down there, resulting in
1 Oil all over the back tyre, resultant loss of grip, and possibly loss of life..yours or someone else's
2 Dumping the oil from these high-performance engines, and you'll lose pump pressure, and if you don't see the oil light (it's generally too late by then anyway) a blown engine
3 Pipes will need to be lengthened....loss of pressure..?
You could even hit a speed bump and smash the thing ..
I wouldn't even think of moving it down there.....[sm=badidea.gif]

I agree with Shadow1. Also, there is less air flow down below behind the tire.

I went to an aftermarket automotive oil cooler and attached it directly in front of the radiator. Moving the stock cooler with the stock lines is going to be difficult. You'll likely need custom made lines.
