Default Northern VA CBR1000F Riders

I recently bought a CB1000 (nope, not a CBR) and I'm looking for hard bags for it. I've found that Givi and Krauser make mounts for the CBR1000F and I was hoping to get a look/comparison of the mounting differences between the CB and the CBR to see if I could get the CBR mounts and make them work on my CB. If you are local and willing to let look at your bike let me know.

Thanks,
Steve

Sent you and email but got to thinking about it. How well do the racks fit on your CBR?

The racks on my CBR fit very well, but they are quite different to the CB1000 racks.......I have removed the side racks for daily use, leaving only the back box platform. Indicators renain undisturbed. See attached.

How much do you want for the CB1000 racks?

One's been cut but can be rewelded. I have no idea what they're worth........
It may be better for you to get some from closer to home, - postage on them will be expensive, as they're quite heavy and bulky. I'll take some pics of them....but you'd still have to find some Nonfango boxes to fit them.....

Thanks,
Yeah I found a reseller for Hepco-Becker luggage that has a reseller in Califormia so I wouldn't have to worry about all those extras for postage and VAT or whatever. Also I have no real skills in welding so I'd rather not get involved with that either.

But again thanks for your help.
Steve
