You're right, joe. It really depends on what else you're gonna do.
I don't like the chrome swingarm look at all, but I know some do.
As far as powdercoating, that's the best alternative IMO. Powdercoat to match the bike. It's tough as hell, and you can make it blend easy (and it's way cheaper).

One shop nearby is doing full sets of wheels in whatever color you want for $100. That's a fricken' deal. I was thinking about getting some alloys done in black for the car.
