Wow, I really appreciate all the responses I had.
The wreck truly does suck, and all I think about is getting my bike fixed or replaced. I would even take a good body with a bad engine and rebuild it. Ughhh.. But I'm still no where near able to ride, or work on anything to repair it. Bones are still healing, lots of pain still, it sucks to be in this position and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Geoffv - First off, this was the first time I rode with this guy. I should have waited for another time besides lunch I guess, but I had no idea the way he rode. unfortunately I found out too late that he likes to push and ride hard. You have to choose your spots to do this, and even when you do choose your spots its very dangerous to overtake someone during LUNCH time!!! Geeze.. Ya know what I mean?? I was going down the road at 55mph and he came to my right side at 65 when he encountered the car which caused the crash. If he had stayed behind me, no crash.. If he was doing 55mph, no crash... I never saw him, I just crashed. I'm still miserable over the whole thing!! Ughhhhhh.. In either case, when I was riding in groups, we kept constant visuals on what each other was doing, and very rarely ever did anything stupid. I think the stupid thing a buddy of mine did, just before we entered a set of 6 consecutive twisties at 80+ mph (in the boonies, no cars, nothing but us) My buddy on his R1 blew past me in my lane just before we entered the twisties. I thought under those conditions that was dangerous, but I knew he was there and compensated for it and everything went fine. The fellow that ran me off the road, I never even saw him. Sucks!

I really appreciate all the love I have recieved from everyone here. The doctor says I will make a full recovery, but it will take 3-4 months to be fully healed. Daytime TV is killing me!!! And sometimes I'm in so much pain I can't get to the video and get a good video to watch!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, I'm going insane!! I can't watch motorcycle racing or commercials, only makes me sick right now. Very frustrating..

I found a link to my bike as promised pictures.. The Police officer told me that my bike flipped end over end, and the plastics that u guys see on my bike now my buddy at his bike shop just hung them on. The right side looked the best, the left side is where she slid. ughhhh, so frustrating.

so sad to hear about the accident man, at least u walked away with ur life. think of daytime television as the lesson in riding more cautiously, this might help ease the pain. just a suggestion try that netflix website for movies, it might be worth it. hope u and ur friend have a speedy recovery, and i hope the accident doesnt make either of u bike shy. good luck
