hi everyone im new here i just picked up my first bike its a 87 cbr hurricane 1000... i couldnt pass it up for $350 bucks. I am a auto mechianic and know alot about cars but i HAVE NO idea at all about bikes... very new to me. i was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction preferably someone with experience in this or have done it to their bike personally...

I was lookin at it and notice the rims/tires seem wayyyy smaller than the newer bikes, what can i put on there thats a bit wider from like maybe another year cbr or soemthing? thank in advance.
