carb spitting when the engine is cold
#14
Thanks Shadow! Well, a few months ago I was one of the millions that became jobless and since I didnt have a computer at home, i wasnt able to surf the net.
Then, I bought an FZ 1 and have joined their forum and have been letting my sweet baby Hurricane rest a little bit. Still love her dearly, but i only ride her about 2 days a week now.

It is not anything constant or hissing or whistleing. About every 5-10 seconds it makes a spit noise. Like something is building up and releasing. It comes from the carbs. Doesnt matter if the choke is on or not.
It mainly does it when the ambient temps are cool and the engine is cold. On a warm days it doesnt it, regardless of engine temp.
