Carb Replacement

Is that set-up familiar to anyone?
It is. You can run without the lines and simply aim the T's back and down at a 70 degree
angle - my 93 & 87 - I left them off , only gets to be an issue in super wet weather & even
then it would be an achievement to get water infiltration in them

Brill, I thought they were some sort of overflow for fuel but I could not understand why they were not longer to drain to the bottom of the frame!! What is the purpose of them then is it just to vent the carbs to atmosphere. Do they 'vent out' or 'suck in' considering you mention potential for water infiltration?
Next job clutch/throttle cables and fuel tank on. Just waiting for some parts to come. More questions probably on the way to you guys. I want the bike to be ready for 2nd August (when my licence upgrades). Watch this space.
Is there any reason why I can't attache or paste pictures. It would help me explain things a bit better?

You were bang on the money about fitting those throttle cables to carbs first. Had to take those bloody carbs off again. Not a bad thing, getting a dab hand at it now!! I did try to follow wizzle's 'how to', but I think you need a lot of patience to do it with the carbs on (which i don't have)
