Can I just swap the left handle bar with the right and gain some comfort?

You could but you'll find it limits range and you'd have to drill new "nipple holes" for the
controls....... really would not do a heck of a lot for you in any event.

Not sure your brake and clutch lines would take it as you'd be stretching 'em back a bit

There's also Genmar Risers some Guys use

Err no they didn't and you'll see them replacing the VFR bars fairly soon ! they sent me a replacement for one "iffy" bar
and I tell ya these things are just ducky !

Sorry Sprock, I thought I read somewhere you thought they were rather flimsy looking and not well finished off (These are the $69 ones from China were talking about aren't we?)

Yeah same ones but they weren't so bad after all I was just ticked that one bar
was "screwy" when I get 'em on y'all can be the judge. The actual bars are quite
long .....as long as stock bar PLUS the weights ....... so I'm trying to decide whether
to cut 'em down to stock length or run 'em long (could add accessories this way )
In any event I'll have to chop the rounded ends off and tap for some HEAVY weights

Bit of a project .....might have to wait for the colder darker months here before doing.

I like the look of those telefix profi bars on pacojoseph's bike and might put a set of them on my shopping list soon.

Sprock, any chance of a photo of the bars on yours?

It'd be nice to just ride these bikes as fast as they're meant to go all the time, that way none of us would have to change a thing...too many cops out my way though...as well as crap roads and large hopping animals.

Naturally, middle age has nothing to do with it.

Yeah Dave I'll do a shoot of them close up tomorrow for ya .......unmounted tho'

The silver ones up on the rack being majorly worked on (exhaust pipes and shifter bolt ),
have to keep one roadready .... so mounting them has to wait for a bit

Plus another getting added to the stable in a week ...an 87
