Not to my knowledge.
Why not go up a couple of teeth on the rear sprocket ?- give you more go for sure !

If you want more power go for a Wiseco Big Bore kit, I don't like the larger rear sprocket on mine, feels like you are always looking for gears on the highway and therefore more vibrations at speed, not to mention trying to keep the front wheel on the ground in 1st and 2nd. Also, I only get 200klm before hitting reserve.

so how much of a hp gain do you think i would get from a big bore kit? they all seem to be 1049cc which isnt really much larger. but they run about $500. so that plus having the cylinders bored out, thats like $200 or so. plus misc gaskets, etc. maybe like $800 in it tops, but i could almost turbo it for that price.

This is precisely why I suggested a change to your sprocket. Cost about $30 or so and maybe a new chain.
AND you can change it back if you don't like it.

I've seen the costs of the bigbore kit and the performance and to be honest I thought a full teardown of the engine and the costs involved were not what you wanted.
Make a list of the parts costs - just a set of gaskets is around $150, and that's the cheap bit. You should replace the camchain and tensioner and the other chains, like primary etc if you're going this route, so add a few more hundreds to that. Boring and the Wiseco will be big bucks. New bearing shells too.
Plus dis- and re-assembly cost of the engine

My mate did it to his bike - Mk1
Yes it was a bit more powerful but even he said that it wasn't worth all the cost.

Hey:

Here you go for the cams, it ain't cheap, Web Cam Inc. - Performance and Racing Camshafts they will weld/regrind a set of cores you send to them. Also a set of 87-88 cams are a little hotter than your 96. You'll also need to decide on a budget then work within it or you'll spend a ton of cash on the little things. I think it sounds like you maybe a Nos/NX express/TNT/Schnitz racing candidate, cheapest bang for the buck, but where do you want to use it?

Also show me that $800 almost turbo kit I want one, try closer to $8,000 to do it right.

Ganzey, you might be able to build a turbo for a grand, but how much to get the motor up to spec to work reliably with it, thats why Dub suggested about $8000, just ask cbrclassic, he did it to an old kwaka. I have the big bore kit in my 93, I got the parts from fleabay and the forum but had to pay someone to do the work, ended up costing me $2800 all up, $600 all parts, $2200 labour(I already had the wiseco pistons)
